Our History
Business Phoenix was founded by Bryan Lucas in 2024, building on more than 25 years of experience in corporate insolvency and business recovery. Bryan began his career at some of the UK’s leading insolvency firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers and Begbies Traynor, before going on to co-found CMB Partners, a boutique insolvency practice that continues to thrive.
In recent years, through his consultancy firm LUC Consulting, Bryan has focused on a more hands-on, director-led turnaround approach, helping viable businesses restructure and return to sustainable growth. His practical, solution-driven style has earned the trust of directors across a wide range of sectors, from professional sports clubs to oil drilling companies, restaurants and many more.
